Cellebrite and MSAB software leak
Data from Cellebrite & MSAB, two companies that provide phone hacking tools to governments, has just been published online. The leak includes actual software as well as documentation.
Enlace Hacktivista and Distributed Denial of Secrets publishing phone forensics software and documentation from the Israeli company Cellebrite and from its Swedish competitor, MSAB. These companies sell their tools to police and governments around the world who use it to collect information from the phones of journalists, activists, and dissidents. Both companies' software is well documented as being used in human rights abuses.
